At dawn on Wednesday (26th), the England team in Group C of the European Union unexpectedly qualified for the knockout stage in a suspenseful match. In the fierce battle with Slovenia, England team ended with a score of 0-0, three wins, two draws and five points, at the top of the group, successfully stepped into the knockout round of the "comfort zone". In this "golden track", they were able to avoid Germany, Spain, Portugal and France before the final of the four big powers.

England's team leader Shoufki made a change in personnel for this match, replacing the recently criticized Alexander Arnott with Ganesha Kalicha. However, the overall performance of the Three Lions was still dull. Facing the tight defense of Slovenia, England was on thin ice. Although Bukajorska had a shot on goal, Phil Cotton was offside and the goal was disallowed.

In the second half, Phil Cotton's penalty was parried by Slovenian goalkeeper Obi Alexandre, and Djebbia's cross from the left was missed by Halikani at the near post, as both sides failed to break the deadlock in the first half.

In the second half of the match, England made a quick adjustment by replacing Ghana Gacha with the 19-year-old Minnay. However, the game was still in a state of flux, and although the Three Lions had the upper hand, their offense was never able to form a substantial threat. The game lasted 70 minutes, and Galpenma had scored 22 goals in the Premier League last season. Gorpenma was ready to take the field, but one of his attempts was deflected by keeper Obili, and the game stayed at 0-0. Both Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina have enough to qualify.

England, after finishing first in Group C, will be third in Group D or E to make it to the knockout rounds and out of the "comfort zone". The big four - Germany, Spain, Portugal and France - will have to avoid them before the final.

In the same group of matches that England progressed to, Denmark and Serbia also shook hands in a 0-0 draw, while Denmark managed to clinch their place in the tournament.
