At the age of 16, Spain's newest soccer star, Laminejema, showed his extraordinary talent in his Euroleague debut against Croatia, helping his team win with a pinpoint assist. The soccer field is full of challenges for Raminiema. However, the talented youngster also has his own "weaknesses": he is afraid of math and history, and often worries that his test scores will make him "gain weight".
At the age of 16 years and 339 days, Lamineyma broke the record of being the youngest first-team player in European soccer. In order to take care of his studies, he even needs to complete his homework in the training base. In an exclusive interview with the Spanish media, he spoke frankly about his academic troubles: "The school results will be published via the Internet. If our team reaches the final, I won't be able to return to school on time. I hope the teachers will pass my exams. I think math and history are the hardest subjects to read, so I have to devote a lot of time to reviewing."
Surprisingly, despite his obvious soccer talent, many believe that Lamin Yema should have "jumped" straight into college, after all, there are a number of universities vying for the soccer prodigy's admission.
