In a mix of olive branches and honors, Saudi Arabia's powerhouse Ainas officially unveiled Osborn's departure, paying sincere tribute to his outstanding mid-season performance. The Colombian soccer talent, who is in his late thirties, carries with him a rich chapter in his career and will soon return to his homeland as a free agent, joining his parent club, Sporting Clube Nacional.
Having played for a number of giants such as Arsenal in the Premier League and Napoli in Serie A, Osborn joined Ainas in the summer of 2022 to start a new chapter. In two seasons, he has accumulated 29 appearances, including 15 this season, and has made five shutouts in outstanding performances.
Osborn's departure reportedly brings a new face to Ainas - Juventus goalkeeper Stjesny. The transfer operation heralds the reunion of Stjesny with another world-class star, Cron. Aynas has offered the 34-year-old Poland international a two-year deal worth up to 19 million euros (HK$160 million) a year. And Stjesny is expected to formalize his transfer after completing his final game against the Polish national team.
