Germany's soccer stadiums tend to maintain a quietness in the run-up to Scotland's Europa League opener. If there is to be a surprise, then unconventional tactics will have to be offered. Recently, Scotland's renowned footballer Huntley revealed that McTominie could be a surprise hit, able to fill the gap in the Scotland front line at crucial moments.
Scotland face a striker drought, with Liverpool starlet Dujac and QPR's Ryden Dykes missing from the roster due to injuries, and will have to rely on Thornhampton's Chaadams for the forward position. However, Huntley, Scotland's 1998 World Cup captain, predicted that McTominney would be the mysterious ace in Chillar's hand.
Huntley says: I would certainly deploy it that way, but there is every chance that McTominney will partner Adams as a striking duo, especially in the closing 15 minutes of the game, and he has proved to be a key player at United.
McTomini has already scored seven goals in European competition, which ranks fifth. Although slightly behind Halikani's goal tally, Huntley noted that it's not unreasonable for Chillar to select so many midfielders and defenders, as he has more opportunities to push McTomini up front.
