Recently, transfer rumors of Villa's Brazilian midfielder star Duglas Reyes in Arsenal's team have been spreading, and the sudden intervention of Zuji's team has sparked the attention of the football world. It is reported that the two sides have reached a preliminary consensus on the transfer, with an annual salary of up to 4.5 million euros (equivalent to about 38 million Hong Kong dollars), and Zuji also then paid Villa an advance payment for the transfer.

The 26-year-old has been scouted by Barclays Premier League rivals Manchester City since 2017 but failed to get a chance to showcase his talent at the club. He then spent two seasons on loan with Spanish side Quirona before finally being officially signed by Aston Villa in 2019. Over the past five seasons, Duglas Reyes has made 204 appearances and scored 22 goals, and has been in hot form this season, contributing 10 goals and 10 assists in 53 games.

Despite having two years left on his contract with Villa, the Brazilian star has no intention of renewing it. Villa plan to put him on the market this summer at a valuation of up to 70 million euros (equivalent to about HK$590 million), which would be the highest price of Douglas Reyes' career. Once the transfer is successful, Villa will maximize their profits.

According to the Italian media, the Zuyondas team sent director Chiantoli to get in touch with the agent of Douglas Reyes, and the two sides agreed on an annual salary of 4.5 million euros, as well as bonus terms. The new contract will run until 2029. The next steps will see Zuyundas negotiate further with Villa over the transfer fee.
