The competitive landscape of the Premier League is getting fiercer and fiercer. In Saturday's (4th) match, Nottingham Forest won 3-1 against Siffield United, successfully grabbing three valuable points and leading Luton by three points in the table. It is worth mentioning that the total number of goals scored by both sides reached 11, and the match was extremely hot. Southend United, on the other hand, have conceded as many as 100 goals in the league this season, setting a new record for goals conceded in a single season in the history of the Premier League!

Despite Forest's early struggles, they scored twice in 17 minutes, with Ryan Yeddis breaking through again in the second half, to seal a 3-1 win. Speaking after the game, Forest captain Newnoo said, "It was vital to keep the lead. The fate of the Conservation Grade is in our hands. I can't afford to make any mistakes. It's a game where I've earned a step up for the protection grade, but our battle is not over yet."

Siffield United's defeat took them to 100 goals conceded in the league this season, equalling Swindon's record from the 1993/94 season. However, with 22 teams competing in the Premier League that year, Siffield United have two rounds of league matches still to play and they could well become the team to concede the most goals in history. Newcastle United and Arsenal have poured 13 and 11 goals into Syfy United this season respectively, conceding goals like water.
