The fire is burning again at the top of the Premier League. After Arsenal beat Tottenham Hotspur in North London, Manchester City's title bid also saw a 2-0 victory against Nottingham Forest in the early hours of Monday morning (29th). Although Arsenal are currently trailing by one point, with the advantage of having played one less game, they have shown their determination to win the title in their next four matches. Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is not convinced about the possibility of Arsenal dropping points and expects this title race to go into a whitewash.

City got the go-ahead in the comeback of Aynin Chalant, but they had to play much better in order to protect the forest. City created a number of attacking chances early in the game, but Guardiola's high demands did not make it easy. Garcia came close to breaking the deadlock with a header on 32 minutes. Although Forest remained combative after that, Kirsten Stewart had two great chances in front of goal but failed to capitalize on either. And City sealed a 2-0 win in the 71st minute after Xalanthe's silky finish with Kiyun Dibny.

Looking back at the last ten Premier League matches, Arsenal have won eight and lost one, while Manchester City have won eight and drawn two, with City on a winning streak in their last five matches. Guardiola said after the game, "I wanted Arsenal to lose, but obviously I couldn't control the situation. In the last four rounds, I don't think Arsenal will lose points, so I understand to win the rest of the games. Arsenal will fight until the last moment and we are ready for this title fight which will be exceptionally exciting."

In the Premier League soccer betting odds, Manchester City leads the way with 1.37 times the heat, followed by Arsenal at 2.75 times. The "Arsenal" will face Manchester United after defeating Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, while City will face Tottenham Hotspur in the last four rounds. Arsenal are currently seven goals ahead on goal difference, meaning City must take all three points, as any slip-up could send the title race into a last-second tug-of-war.
