Liverpool have welcomed a new coach to start a new chapter for the team, replacing Gopp, who is due to leave in the summer. According to "transfer expert" Romano, the news has been widely spread in the British media. The Reds have reached an agreement with Dutch Eredivisie side Feijano to pay a £9.4 million (HK$92 million) "ransom" fee to secure the signing of new coach Schlosser. The news is expected to be officially confirmed in the near future.
Liverpool had previously tried unsuccessfully to bring in two coaches, Shabbi Alonso and Rubin Emolian. They then quickly turned to Schlow, a decision that seemed particularly decisive. The 45-year-old bald Dutch coach was so eager to join Liverpool that he even urged Fiano to release him early. According to the latest news, Feijano has accepted £9.4 million compensation from Liverpool and Schlow's resolve is set. Of this fee, 7.7 million pounds for the fixed fee, 1.7 million pounds for the floating fee, Schlosser's assistant Hounsouf will also join together.
Schlow coached Alkmaar in the Netherlands and led Feijenhoven to a UEFA Europa League runners-up finish in 2021/22. He led the side that won the Dutch title last season and continues to lead the league this season, currently just nine points behind Feijenhoven.
