As the night wore on, Thursday (25th) dawned as Liverpool battled it out. Just before the "Merseyside Showdown" at Ewarton, an unexpected blow struck everyone with a heavy heart. The star of the team, Diago Zuda, just struggled to get up from his sickbed, but collapsed again. Sources revealed that he may need to recuperate for two weeks, during which time he will not be able to face Ewarton, Westham and Tottenham in the Premier League.
In a tense pre-match press conference, Liverpool boss Gopp announced the unfortunate news with a heavy heart, "Unfortunately, Diago Zuda felt unwell during the game and is expected to miss two weeks after suffering a suspected hip injury. Injuries, this is indeed an inevitable reality on the soccer field."
Back in mid-February this year, Diago Zuda suffered an unfortunate knee injury in a match against Pennsylvania Ford. Although he subsequently returned to Fulham in the Europa League battle of Atalanta, misfortune struck again.The 27-year-old Portuguese international, with a fire of hope in his heart, expects to return to action in the early hours of May 14th in the Premier League against Aston Villa in a fit state of mind.
