The "Battle of London" in the Premier League was a one-sided affair on Wednesday morning, with Arsenal beating Chelsea 5-0 at home in one of the most shocking matches in the club's history! Xaviès was on fire, scoring twice and putting onlookers to shame. The club's official social media stream went so far as to deliberately omit details of Xaviers' entrance into the game, as if the German international was invisible.

Arsenal showed absolute control in this contest. There were 27 shots on goal, and in only 4 minutes of the opening half, Dee Glen Rice made a personal breakthrough by skillfully passing the ball to Liandu Dushyat, who scored with a shot from a very small angle. Facing Arsenal's fierce attack, Chelsea struggled to hold on for a while, but the defense completely collapsed after half-time. Arsenal's defender Binwet capitalized on the opponent's mistake and easily sent the ball into the empty net to make the score 2-0.

Following a precise long pass from Martyn Odigat, Xaviers scored after just eight minutes, and in doing so the 24-year-old midfielder became the first player to score two goals in a single Premier League game.

Arsenal's offense didn't stop there, and after 70 minutes, Martyn Odegat had another assist. Brivet shot from a narrow angle on the right and the ball flew into the net like an arrow. It was also a brilliant move, and like Xaviers, Brivet also scored twice, helping Arsenal to a "five-goal streak".

After the game, Adi Da was full of praise for the players' performance: "This game means a lot to us. The players know why they are playing. The goal is (the title) and that's where our team cohesion lies. It's my job to ask them what they need to accomplish. We will enjoy this win and be ready for the next game." Arsenal are now one game and three points ahead of Liverpool and two games and four points ahead of Manchester City after this win.

Since March 1986 to 0-6 defeat to QPR, Chelsea suffered the biggest tragedy in nearly 38 years, the first time in 38 consecutive matches suffered "five eggs" defeat, the "Battle of London" has become synonymous with defeat.
