Following Manchester United's 2-2 draw in their league match with Fennymouth, a storm of controversy quickly festered on social media. Alejandro Ganadzou's critical comments about coach Tannhäuser sparked concern, followed by two likes that were as brief as a shooting star across the night sky. It was reported that Ganassou quickly withdrew the likes after the incident had subsided, but the move did not completely calm the storm.

According to the Mirror, United have conducted an internal investigation into the incident. They are of the opinion that the behavior of Ganassou, while controversial, was of moderate severity compared to the situation with Chaton Sinzu earlier in the season. The incident was sparked by a post-game press conference in which Tannhäuser commented on Garnadzoup's defensive lapses, followed by two critical messages from a well-known blogger, who referred to Garnadzoup as a "scapegoat". When confronted with the comment, Ganassou quickly liked it and then retracted it, but it left a mark.

The incident was a departure from the Chatunsinzu controversy earlier in the season. Chatoncinzu had insisted on fighting back against Tanhag and refused to apologize. And Ganassou accepted a two-game suspension at the first opportunity and apologized to Tannhäuser in a subsequent candid conversation.

Sources close to the situation revealed that Ganazou issued a written statement in response to Tanhag's criticism, arguing that his likes were not serious. Manchester United is satisfied with this, believing that Ganazu withdrew the likes in time and emphasized the responsibility that should be taken on social networks. However, this does not mean that Ganassou will be exempt from disciplinary action.
