The Western Sydney Wanderers roared against the Brisbane Lions on Australia's green pitch, eager to make it three wins in a row in the league and secure a playoff spot.

Despite back-to-back setbacks for Western Sydney in March, they quickly picked themselves up and beat Perth Glory and FC Macarthur in quick succession to revive their playoff hopes.

Personally, I think Western Sydney found an opportunity to redeem themselves in the 0-7 defeat to Melbourne, despite the sweaty grit they showed in that game.

In the following two games, the team came together and worked hard to get back on the winning track. Banton Boley Road was in hot form, with Sannijetu scoring a goal against MacArthur and contributing two assists for the second consecutive game, much to the relief of Magorudhan.

The Brisbane Lions, on the other hand, have suffered back-to-back defeats recently and are drifting away from the top six in the league. I think they need to find a balance between strengthening their offense and solid defense.

The problem is that their style of play seems to have weakened the back four's ability to deal with counter-attacks from the opposition, as evidenced by the match against Wellington Phoenix, where the opposition were just unlucky not to extend their lead.

Up front, Milios Cali is expected to bring goals and creativity to the team, while Thomas Waddingham is a very talented scorer who will be a nightmare for opponents as long as his teammates can create chances for him.

Nonetheless, I observe that the Western Sydney Wanderers have been going strong lately, and I expect them to continue their run of success in this match, making it three wins in a row in the league and continuing to aim higher.
