Among the many expenses, players' salary is undoubtedly the biggest burden. Manchester City has many stars, so naturally the salary expenses are huge. For example, Chivan Dibny's midfield salary is as high as £400,000 per week, totaling £423 million for the entire season.

Manchester United followed in fourth place, while Arsenal made it in as fifth. It is worth mentioning that Arsenal's players "value for money" is higher.

It's worth noting that the team with the lowest total payroll spend last season was Fulham, at just £90m.
