Manchester City have been making a lot of moves recently, targeting 22-year-old Mika Mamo straight away. The Pemas star, with a transfer fee of up to 5 million euros (about HK$42.5 million), and Barcelona has been prepared to bear half of the cost.

Mika Mamo was a member of Barcelona's youth academy before moving to FC Andorra in the Liga B in 2022. He joined Las Pomas for €1.5 million (around HK$12.7 million) this season and quickly showed his strength, contributing one assist in 26 games and being selected for the Spanish Olympic team's pre-selection list.

Manchester City have reached out to Mika Mamo's agent to discuss future plans. However, Quirona, part of the City Football Group, are also eyeing him. City may reach an agreement with Quirona first, or sign and then borrow Mika Mamo, but either way, Barcelona are financially strong enough to deal with it.
