In a weekend of intense competition in the Premier League, the 10th showdown saw Liverpool and Manchester City engage in a half-time tug-of-war. City took the lead in the first half with a goal from Stones, while a 12-yard equalizer from Alex McAleese in the second half ended in a 1-1 draw between the two teams. In the match, Arsenal took advantage of the opportunity to jump to the top of the league table after 28 rounds of fixtures.

Despite Liverpool's return of injured players such as Suboslar and Endo, Mohamed Sana is still out due to injury and can only be used as a substitute. Ibrahim Makanadi was not included in the list, and the defense had to use the youngster Chalol Konsa. In contrast, City sent four attacking midfielders including Phil Cotton, Benedetto Schwarz, Chivan Dibny and Zulian Ivaris to support Aynin Xalant, and the attacking momentum is obvious.

City clearly targeted the right side of Liverpool's defense during the game, especially youngsters Chalol Konsa and Ganah Bartley. Early in the game, Zulian Ivaris had a shot confiscated by Kiely Boots, before Chivun Dibny's shot went narrowly wide. Shortly after, Uruguayan striker Luis Diaz crossed to a teammate but was offside. City were awarded a corner in the 23rd minute and Stones' unmarked shot gave his team the first goal. Trailing, Liverpool fought back with all their might but went into the dressing room at half-time trailing 1-0.

Less than two minutes into the second half, a suicide pass from City's Niton Aki led to Aidachen Moras being robbed in the box by Dawun Nunes, and Alex McAleese then fired in the equalizer. Addachen Moras suffered an injury as a result and was replaced by Steffen Odiga in the 56th minute. Liverpool brought on Mohamed Sanaa and Andrew Robathan in the 60th minute to strengthen the attack but failed to change the scoreline again. In the 88th minute, Shelly Medjugorje's shot hit the post and Sana's counter-attack shot went wide, ending the match in a 1-1 draw. After the match, Liverpool and Arsenal have the same 64 points, but the "Arsenal" has a better goal difference to occupy the top of the list, followed by Manchester City with one point less, the Premier League title race is still full of suspense.
