Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) narrowly beat Real Sociedad 2-1 away from home in the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 second leg at dawn on Wednesday (6), advancing to the last eight with a 4-1 aggregate score. PSG star Kilian McBarbee, who is known as the legendary "shot through the net", scored twice in the match, with a long-distance shot that went through the opponent's goal like a cannonball.

PSG won the first leg 2-0 and the visitors remained in the driving seat. The score was converted just 15 minutes into the game. McBarbee dinked the ball from the left side of the penalty area and put it into the back of the net. The slow-motion camera showed that the net was almost broken, and netizens and the media marveled at McBarbee's powerful kick.

The 25-year-old French international was in fine form as he used his pace to his advantage, scoring two goals in 556 minutes to extend the lead to 2-0, while Real Sociedad's Mikiel Marienu only scored his first goal in 889 minutes of play in the middle of the match.

It is reported that McBarbie has decided to leave the club this summer. He failed to get enough playing time in the first three matches, including one as a substitute. He was substituted after the first half of the Ligue 1 game and was accused of being "capped" by coach Aniki. However, McBarbie played the whole game and delivered two goals, contributing 41 goals in 34 appearances for PSG in all competitions this season, including 34 goals and seven assists, making him the first player in Europe's top five leagues to produce more than 40 goals this season.

In addition, McBarbie has amassed 13 away goals in the UEFA knockout rounds, second only to Cron's 23 goals, surpassing his idol Cron's record, and Binschmar's 14-goal record is just around the corner.
