Newcastle right-back Jebbia was forced to leave the field midway through the exciting game against Wolves in the Premier League after suffering an unfortunate injury. After meticulous examination by the medical team, the 33-year-old's calf injury has been confirmed. He will miss the Bus Rangers game in the early hours of next Tuesday (12), while the last eight of the English FA Cup will be played in the early hours of March 17 as the away team against Manchester City.

Jebbia lasted only 52 minutes after sustaining the injury in the match and then retired due to injury. Although scans show that the injury is not serious, he is expected to be out until at least the end of March. For this reason, 21-year-old youngster Leaf will fill in for Wendo on a temporary basis. Not only will Jebbia miss Newcastle's next two matches against the Roadrunners and Manchester City, but he may not even be available for the England national team in the warm-up matches against Brazil and Belgium at the end of March.

Jebbia has played 24 Premier League matches for Newcastle this season, contributing 1 goal and 10 assists, playing a vital role in both offense and defense. His injury will undoubtedly bring a greater challenge to the team and add to the pain felt by the Magpies' fans.
