Manchester United's center back, left back Rauki Suhr, has suffered a surprisingly serious injury in a recent Premier League match against Luton. According to an exclusive revelation by the Daily Mail, the 28-year-old England international could be out for up to three months, meaning he is likely to miss all of United's remaining matches this season, and may not even be able to play in the upcoming UEFA Europa League final week, which kicks off in mid-June.

Lukicol was out for three months earlier in the season with an injury, and in the most recent Premier League match against Aston Villa, he was withdrawn from the game after the first half, which manager Tannhäuser said was for "precautionary" reasons. However, Lauchiquemire was injured again against Luton in stoppage time, this time in a more serious condition.

Manchester United officially released a statement on this, saying that Lauki Szczur is expected to be out of action for a few months due to a muscle injury. The Daily Mail's analysis suggests that he will be out for at least three months and will not be able to play for United for the remainder of the tournament, and in the worst case scenario may even be out of the UEFA Europa League.

The prolonged absence of Lauki Suhr, coupled with the fact that teammate Duvel Malasia is still recovering, has left United currently lacking an authentic left back. Tannhäuser may follow the past practice of playing center back Viktor Lendilov or defensive midfielder Sufunyan Rabat in this position, but this will obviously affect the team's defensive stability.
