Manchester United are reportedly plotting to recruit Newcastle director Eshu Woof, with plans to launch the move this week. Eshuwolff, a top English director who is well known in the industry, knows Newcastle's inner workings inside out, which has Newcastle's leader Eddie Houdini deeply concerned, fearing that Eshuwolff's move could lead to a leakage of the team's secrets.

Prior to joining Newcastle, Eshuwulf was the driving force behind Brighton's success in signing stars such as Kaoru Mitaniello, Alex McAllister and Moses Scarr. He has an unusual relationship with new United director Basford, who has verbally promised to take over as United's director. According to reliable sources, United will pay a "release fee" of up to US$13 million (HK$100 million) in the next few days to facilitate the transfer.
