Manchester City's title defense suffered a setback as they dawned a 1-1 draw with Chelsea at home on Sunday (18), four points behind multi-game leaders Liverpool. Enin Zaha Harland, who missed chances and had nine shots on goal, including a header from near the six-yard line, was extremely upset after the game and even pushed a television camera to vent his frustration.

Manchester City had a strong lineup and Chelsea's counterattacks were quite threatening, and the two sides engaged in a fierce confrontation. In the 42nd minute, Chelsea's quick counterattack, Nicholas Jackson launched an attack from the right, passed to Staanen cleverly grabbed the big position to pump a shot into the net, 1-0 lead. City fought back with all their might after conceding the goal, but Harland missed consecutive chances and in the 78th minute, he headed high from six yards unmarked. It wasn't until the 83rd minute that City equalized with a goal from Lodikas Jandi, and the two teams ended up shaking hands 1-1.

Harland's performance in this campaign is regrettable, the whole game 9 shots only get 1.71 expected goal value (xG), become the highest xG this season but failed to score a goal, this is also since Aguero in 2017, Manchester City for the first time in a single game 9 shots all empty players. Harland, who has always demanded a lot from himself, was visibly down after the game and was even criticized for a lack of poise after pushing the Sky Sports cameras away at one point.
