The incident occurred in the 87th minute of the match when Banlote Badiazooni left the field in agony, an injury that also caused him to miss the last Premier League match against Crystal Palace. He is now confirmed to be out for a month and is expected to miss at least five more games, including the Premier League clash with Manchester City, the clash with Salford, the crucial game against Newcastle, the EFL Cup clash with Leeds United and the crucial EFL Cup final clash with Liverpool at the top of the table.
