After the pain of leaving Nottingham Forest last summer, Lian Ger finally turned a corner recently, successfully joining South Korean K-League giants FC Seoul. The 31-year-old former Manchester United midfielder is enjoying himself in a foreign country, despite being away from home, and has been enthusiastically sharing bits and pieces of his new life on social media, from the local customs of the country to the taste of Korean barbecue, which exudes a love of life.

Through Lian Ger's Instagram account, we can see a number of photos he has posted recently, not the least of which is him wearing FC Seoul's uniform and smiling brightly on the pitch. He tasted Korean barbecue with his teammates and showed fans his accommodations as if he were an experienced travel blogger. However, a number of netizens took the opportunity to tease him, suggesting that instead of indulging in eating and drinking, he should focus on his performance on the pitch to save his soccer career.
