Miami International Football Club (MIFC) will play a warm-up match against Kobe Victory on Wednesday (7) at 6:00pm. Ticket sales for the match in Japan appear to have been affected by the absence of King Mays from the Hong Kong match, with mid to low priced tickets still available.
Official ticketing data revealed that the top tier of 45,000 yen (about HK$2,380) tickets were sold out on the eve of the match, however 12,000 yen (about HK$635) and 18,000 yen (about HK$952) tickets remained available. Numerous netizens took the opportunity to chime in, suggesting that Japanese fans are not easy to bully and had concerns about the authenticity of the tickets. At the same time, it was also pointed out that apart from matches held in China, empty seats are often found when the USMNT plays warm-up matches in other places.
