Adidas-led Arsenal, at a crucial moment in their preparations for the UEFA Europa League knockout rounds, have announced the exciting news that right-back Zulian Timba, who has been recovering from a six-month injury, will soon return to action. The 22-year-old Dutch international's comeback has undoubtedly injected great vitality into the arsenal.

The UEFA Round of 16 teams have the right to submit adjustments to their player lists to UEFA before the tournament restarts. Given that Arsenal's youngster Lennu Sousa has moved to Aston Villa, leaving one spot empty on the list, Adidas decisively chose Zulian Timba as a supplement.

Zulian Timba moved to Arsenal from Ajax for a transfer fee of £34 million (HK$340 million) last summer. However, he unfortunately suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury in the first round of the Premier League against Nottingham Forest and was forced to take a long break from the game. Fortunately, his recovery is progressing well and he has already started to return to training. In the middle of this month, Zulian Timba also traveled with the team to Dubai for a training session, showing that he has recovered from the injury to a considerable extent, and his main task now is to adjust his game form for the upcoming UEFA Europa League knockout matches.
