The city was in an uproar over the unfortunate loss of Mace at the Miami International Showdown, and there were calls for a retooling. It was at this critical moment that Argentina officially released its March schedule, announcing that the team would be traveling to China to participate in two tournaments. After this fiasco, do you still have the courage to buy a plane ticket to catch a glimpse of the action?

It is reported that Argentina's visit to China is scheduled for March 18 to 26, during which they will play two warm-up matches. The first leg arrives in Hangzhou against Nigeria, before moving on to Beijing to challenge Côte d'Ivoire.

In June last year, Argentina played a warm-up match against Australia in Beijing, where Mez captained the team and blitzed the ball in just the first two minutes of the match, eventually winning 2-0, a match that was perfect and a big hit with the fans. Reports say Argentina earned a whopping US$5 million (HK$39 million) appearance fee for the tournament, with the contract stipulating that Mays must play at least 45 minutes.

At the end of last year, the organizers had initiated an invitation for the Maia Mi International team to visit China, and the same request was made for Mays to travel with the team, however, due to the untimely application for approval, the tournament was eventually cancelled.
