Saudi Arabia's powerhouse Ainas edged out Al Faha 1-0 away from home in the first leg of their AFC Champions League Round of 16 tie that dawned on Thursday (15). The victory saw Portuguese soccer superstar C. Ronaldo play his 1,000th career club game, and the 39-year-old striker added another goal to his illustrious career with an admirable achievement.

Previously, C Ronaldo missed 2 exhibition matches on his visit to China due to injury and missed the match against International Maia Mi and failed to face off against Argentinean star Mez. Fortunately, he has recently regained his health and made his comeback in the warm-up match against Hilal. However, the team suffered a two-goal loss in that match. Cristiano Ronaldo, who was playing his 1,000th club game in this AFC Champions League match, came up with the winning goal in the 81st minute, his first of the season, from a Bossovic pass, to help Ainas take the lead in the game when they couldn't get on the scoreboard. The second leg will be played in the early hours of February 22nd.
