Binschmar, the French star, joined the Etihad in last summer's transfer window, but just half a season's journey has left him disillusioned. Last month, he was harshly punished by the club for returning to the team 17 days late and was left out of the set-up. According to the latest news, he left the training ground in anger on Monday, May after the coach banned him from team training. More regrettably, Binschmar was forced to be stranded in Saudi Arabia as the European winter transfer window closed.

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Binschmar returned to the team to train in preparation for the upcoming matches after his unsuccessful transfer in January. However, he thought that his peaceful life would continue, but Etihad coach Marcelo Canaldo suddenly banned him from team training and only allowed him to rehabilitate with injured players. The decision was unacceptable to Binschmar, who eventually chose to leave the training ground and missed Thursday's 3-0 win over Ayrtek.
