As the night wore on, the last 16 of the Coupe de la Ligue was in full swing at dawn on Thursday (8). Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defeated Bicester 3-1 at their own stadium in the marquee match to advance to the last eight. Kylian McBarbie scored a goal in the match, bringing his tally to 30 goals in all club matches this season, making him the first player in the top five leagues in Europe to score "30+" goals.

Bicester has risen like a dark horse this season, ranking third in Ligue 1, and even drew a game away to top-of-the-table PSG last month, so PSG dared not slacken off in this game, and went all out on the attack, trying to overwhelm their opponents. In the 34th minute of the match, Kilian McBarbie blasted a shot from a narrow angle on the right side of the penalty area into the net like lightning. Just three minutes later, Daniel Panglina made it 2-0 at the near post, but Kilian McBarbie's second shot, although powerful, bounced off the bar.

On the changeover, Bicester striker Munir seized the opportunity to bring the score to 1-2 and for a while ignited the flame of hope in his team. However, the departure of center forward Nilian Basia caused Bicester's defensive line to collapse instantly. As the game entered extra time, Drykalu Ramos scored another goal for PSG to seal the 3-1 win.
