Although Manchester United did not bring in any new recruits in the winter transfer window, its recent training camp welcomed a new face - 36-year-old veteran goalkeeper Luiz. The former Duck Buddies goalkeeper is now a free agent and could join any team at any time.

Luiz has played for English clubs such as Nottingham Forest and Cardiff City, but has been playing for Ducks Buddies in the Scottish Premier League since 2017. After losing his starting spot last season, he left the club at the end of his contract and has yet to find a home. Recently, the former England U21 international joined United's training camp to prepare for the campaign alongside replacement goalkeepers such as Tom Heaton and Biondia.
