South Korea bid farewell to the Asian Cup quarter-finals on Tuesday (6), and despite being physically and mentally exhausted, captain Son Heung-min returned to Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday (8), ready for Saturday's (10) home Premier League clash with Bradenton. Although the "Japan-Korea Fantasy Final" failed to become a reality, Son Heung-min and Kaoru Mitonabashi will be the focus of attention in the Premier League.

According to the Guardian, Son Heung-min departed for London immediately after South Korea's defeat to Jordan in the quarterfinals and will join Tottenham Hotspur's practice on Sunday. The club will carry out a full check on his physical condition, and if all goes well, he is expected to play in Saturday's Premier League match. Son missed five games for Spurs during the Asian Cup, picking up just one win in three Premier League matches and being eliminated from the FA Cup.
