Former Premier League Red Devil Hisky is on the verge of financial collapse, with the bar under his name having been brutally judicially liquidated not long ago, racking up debts of 163,000 pounds (about HK$1.62 million). But it was the celebrity investment scandal that dragged him into a financial quagmire.
Hisky, 45, a former Premier League sensation, once earned a handsome annual income, with an estimated net worth of £12 million in 2009, and lived a privileged life with his wife and six children, while running his own pub. However, recent court rulings have left him with a £163,000 debt after his pub went bankrupt. HM Revenue & Customs even filed a bankruptcy petition in the High Court, accusing him of evading £92,000 in taxes between 2017 and 2020, for which he was fined an additional £42,000.
