In the third round of the EFL Cup in the early hours of Monday morning (8), Liverpool away to Arsenal, but before the match, there is an unpredictable clouds. Left back Oyumbike, who joined the club from Scottish Premier League club Dundee, had to sit out this crucial match to pay off his debt because of an unresolved issue in Scotland.
Liverpool were forced to recall 21-year-old Welsh left-back Oyunbike early in light of injuries to both Andrew Robertson and Sammy Kass. The original plan was to have him on the bench for the game, but official news from the English FA came as a bolt from the blue, revealing Oyunbik's yellow-card suspension that he had accumulated during the USSR Cup last July. The suspension was never enforced as Dundee were already out of the competition. Now, the EFL Cup is the stage for Ovumbik to fulfill his suspension.
