Liverpool were forced to recall 21-year-old Welsh left-back Oyunbike early in light of injuries to both Andrew Robertson and Sammy Kass. The original plan was to have him on the bench for the game, but official news from the English FA came as a bolt from the blue, revealing Oyunbik's yellow-card suspension that he had accumulated during the USSR Cup last July. The suspension was never enforced as Dundee were already out of the competition. Now, the EFL Cup is the stage for Ovumbik to fulfill his suspension.
