Recently, the Manchester United club has been making a lot of moves to secure their core players. Following the contract extension of center back Vitorian Diluve until June 2025, 26 year old England right back Yun Bishaka has also seen his contract extended. The player, who was once discarded by leader Tannhäuser, has become an inspirational story as he managed to reverse his fortunes with his outstanding performances.

Yunbishaka moved to Manchester United in the summer of 2019 from Crystal Palace for a transfer fee of £50 million (around HK$490 million). Despite being a mainstay of the Red Devils, he was once frozen out after Tannhäuser took over, and there were even rumors that the team was interested in selling him. Fortunately, Yun Bishaka has been playing steadily over the past year, especially in one-on-one defense, and has won back the coach's favor.

According to Fabrizio Romano, a reporter from Transfer Authority, Manchester United has initiated a one-year extension clause in the contract. After completing the relevant procedures, United will further negotiate a longer-term contract with Yum Bhishkar.
