In the recently concluded top of the table clash, Liverpool and Arsenal drew 1-1. On the field, players' foot slipping has become the norm, especially the Arsenal team, according to statistics, as many as 26 people suffered from slipping! All the signs seem to imply that Liverpool is deliberately "helping" the pitch to "rehydrate", a similar scene in the UEFA Europa League last season against Real Madrid also appeared.

The Anfield Stadium was turned into a "skating rink" and was full of danger. In the second half, Liverpool launched a quick 5-2 counterattack, which was caused by a "chain collision" between Sim Mako and Mata Odigat's slip. In addition, a handball after a slip in the box (not penalized by the referee) and a slip by Bukayosaka clearly affected the players' performance. It was argued that Liverpool's blitz tactic of passing long to Mohamed Sana to subtly minimize the negative impact of the slippery pitch was certainly a good move.
