The night is low and the Saudi Arabian League is back on fire. In Friday's (22nd) match, Ainas defeated Ittifaq by a score of 3-1. Crowe had a goal and an assist in the match, but he seemed to be overshadowed by former Manchester United player Aleksandar Dinis. The Brazilian left-back scored a stunning world volley to stun the crowd.
The Ainas have picked up their form recently, winning two consecutive matches and reaching a total of nine goals. Alexis Dinis opened the scoring in the 43rd minute when, after a header from an opponent, he stood about 25 yards away from the goal and fired a shot into the back of the net. The 31-year old 'Swordsman' had played 30 Premier League matches for Manchester United without a goal, but since joining Ainas, he has contributed two goals in 12 league matches.
When the match resumed, Crowe had his moment to perform. He first assisted Posovic with a header, and then netted a penalty of his own. Although Ainas was equalized by their opponents at the end of the match, it didn't affect the team's ability to win all three points. Ainas is now 10 points behind Hilal at the top of the table, but with only one game to spare.
