Manchester United midfield star Casimiru has been sidelined since his unfortunate injury against Newcastle in the EFL Cup in early November. The 31-year-old Brazil international finally stepped into the Carrington training base on Sunday (10) to begin his rehabilitation journey. According to inside sources, Casimiru is expected to return before the end of the month, when he is expected to be involved in the Premier League's Christmas Express fixtures.
Manchester United's official social media platforms have shared photos of Kasmiru on the training base pitch. It is reported that he is currently only able to train individually and will not be able to return to action in the short term. As such, fans need not expect him to make an appearance in the upcoming UEFA Europa League match against Bayern Munich, as well as the next two Premier League fixtures against Liverpool and Westham. At the earliest, he will be able to make his comeback in the early hours of December 27 when he hosts Aston Villa in the Premier League.
