Following the unfortunate injury to Newcastle goalkeeper Nick Popeye, rumors have been circulating that the Magpies are planning to target former Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea when the winter transfer window opens next month. However, according to the latest revelation from the UK Mirror, Newcastle have two more goalkeepers as potential targets: Lloris and Kieronawas.

After the departure of Nick Popeye, Newcastle's last two Premier League matches were held by substitute goalkeeper Dubafka, resulting in consecutive defeats and a total of 7 goals conceded, coach Eddie Husband urgently needs to bring in a new goalkeeper. In addition to the popular candidate Dikia, Eddie Husband is also interested in Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Lloris. Last summer, Newcastle tried to take the 36-year-old French goalkeeper on loan, but failed to do so. Given that Lloris has been dropped by Tottenham coach Pusztigorow and has yet to make an appearance this season, he may not mind going out on loan and could even be sold to Newcastle.
