With the unfortunate injury to Newcastle goalkeeper Nick Purby, the team is rumored to sign former Manchester United goalkeeper Dikia when the winter transfer market reopens. However, according to the latest disclosure of the British Mirror, Newcastle has two other goalkeeper alternative targets, namely Lloris and Keironavas.
Nick Purby is out with an injury and sub Dubafka has been clinical in Newcastle's last two Premier League matches, but the team has lost two consecutive matches and conceded a combined seven goals. Coach Eddie Howell is desperate to bring in a new goalkeeper. As well as the most vocal Dickie, Eddie Howell is also interested in Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Lloris. Newcastle had tried to take the 36-year-old French goalkeeper on loan this summer, but the plan fell through. Given that Lloris has been dropped by Tottenham coach Puskás and has yet to make an appearance this season, Newcastle believe a loan or even a sale to him is feasible.
