On Saturday (2), the Bonny Boys swept aside Siffield United 5-0 at home in a do-or-die match that not only tied the record for the biggest win by a team at the bottom of the table in the history of the Premier League, but also witnessed a period of legend written by the team's 34-year old veteran, Jaillo Diggs. Not only did he become the first player in the Premier League to score twice in the first 15 seconds of a game, but he is also a breathtaking veteran of the game.
Prior to the game, the Potters were at the bottom of the table, with Siffield United in the bottom three, however, the game started and the tables were turned in an instant. Jarodigues scored with a header from a teammate's cross from the left, a move reminiscent of his 15-second goal against Chelsea at Southampton 10 years ago, a feat that no one has ever seen before or since.
A youth product of the Bonny side, Jarodigus quickly rose to prominence following his move to Southampton in 2012, reaching the pinnacle of his career with 15 goals in 33 Premier League appearances in the 2013/14 season. However, his performances didn't last thereafter and after a move to West Bromwich Albion, he returned to the Bonny four years ago. In the Championship last season, he scored 10 goals to help his side return to the Premier League.
At the beginning of this season, Jarodegus had no goals in 10 consecutive appearances, and it was only in the last round against Westham that he broke his goal drought. And in this game, he scored again, breaking the goal for the second consecutive game and regaining his shooting boots, showing his unmissable killer nature.
