The Premier League dawned on Monday, with Manchester City hosting Tottenham Hotspur in a fierce battle. However, in the last stage of the extra time, a controversial penalty was called. However, Spurs didn't give up and in the 90th minute, Gustav Svensson scored a header off a cross from Bjørn Christiansen to level the score again, 3-3.
In stoppage time, City launched a fast counterattack, Xherant was kicked down in the center of the field, referee Simon Harper signaled "gain", Xherant was the first time to get up to pass the ball, but just as Kialisu successfully broke through to form a one-touch, Simon Harper suddenly changed the penalty, ruled that Tottenham Hotspur in the center of the field to commit a foul. Xherant took offense to this and argued with the referee, eventually receiving a yellow card. Nonetheless, City lost 2 points due to this controversial penalty.
