Recently, Leverkusen FC announced that they have extended the long term contract of young Dutch winger Shelly May Ferimbang until 2025, with a release clause of up to €40 million (HK$340 million) attached. The rising star is said to have caught the eye of Real Madrid, and Leverkusen fears it will be difficult to keep him in the squad.

Leading German sports media Sky Sports further revealed that Leverkusen will have to release Sheremet Ferringbone once a potential buyer activates his release clause. With his outstanding performance of six goals and six assists in 17 games this season, Shelly May Ferimbang has become a target for several big clubs, including Real Madrid.
