Manchester United soccer legend Bobby Charlton sadly passed away at the end of last month, and on Monday (13th), nearly 1,000 fans gathered outside the Otford Stadium at a farewell ceremony in Manchester, with many of United's legendary names such as Ferguson, Kennedy, Jess and Scores all coming to pay their respects. Unfortunately, however, apart from four current players, including Harry Muguni, United's team leader Tannhäuser and the Glasha family, who own the club, were not represented at the ceremony, a move that has been widely criticized.

Bobby Charlton was regarded as one of the most outstanding players in United's history, but his funeral service was met with a snub from the current players. Apart from players such as Orano and Bono Fernandes, who were unable to attend due to national team commitments, Wahlani, Ricciardo Martinez, Anthony Mathias, Mason Monte and Chatterton Sinzu all chose to be absent, leaving only four current players, Harry Magooni, Johnny Evans, Raukishore and Townshend, to show up at the ceremony.
