In the early hours of Sunday morning (12), Arsenal comfortably beat Brentford 3-1 at home in the Premier League. Belgian shot-stopper Liandou Duchate continued his excellent form, not only did he score the first goal for his team, but the goal was also his 1,000th official match goal at the Emirates Stadium. Even more amazingly, all seven of Duchate's goals since joining Arsenal have been assisted by the same player, making him the perfect partner.
Throughout the match, Arsenal were firmly in control of the tempo of the game. Just before the end of the first half, Douthat finished with a flying finish in front of goal, assisted by a header from Bukayo Shaka. Brentford equalized in the 54th minute of the game with a shot from Zohir Brown-Hill. However, just three minutes later, Arsenal's William Shaliba headed home from a corner, and a world-class goal from Sim Zengo gave Arsenal a 3-1 victory.
