On an exciting Saturday (4th), the JAL Cup Final saw an exciting matchup between Fukuoka Wasps and Urawa Red Diamonds. The Wasps won the title battle 2-1 with a strong first half performance, marking their first top-flight championship glory in their 41-year history.

Fukuoka Hornets took the lead in the first 5 minutes of the game. The score was 1-0 when Kazuya Konno sent the ball to the right side of the field, and a powerful shot from in front of the goal made the score 1-0. Towards the end of the first half, Wasps extended their lead again, this time it was Kazuya Konno's cross from the left side, and Oki Miyagi was able to quickly grab the goal, and the score was 2-0 at the end of the first half.
