Recently, Liverpool's star striker Luis Diaz faced a major challenge in his life. His parents were kidnapped in Colombia last week, and the sudden turn of events has forced the 26-year-old to take a break from professional soccer and return home to deal with family matters. Nevertheless, Díaz has not missed many matches and has only been absent for a short period of time in the last two matches. It is worth noting that his dedication to his soccer career is admirable, and he has recently returned to training and is expected to make his debut in the Premier League away to Luton in the early hours of Monday morning.

In the case of the kidnapping of Díaz's parents, fortunately, his mother was rescued, but his father, Vinuel, is still in the hands of the kidnappers. The Colombian government has intervened and concluded that the kidnapping was carried out by the left-wing rebels, the Ejército de Liberación Nacional (ELN). President Petro has begun arranging peace talks, and the ELN has said it will release Díaz's father as soon as possible. Although the matter is still being handled intensively, it is expected to be resolved shortly, which will allow Luis Díaz to return to the team with peace of mind and to engage in intensive preparations for the tournament.
