Wolves were at home in the Premier League at the crack of dawn on Sunday in a thrilling clash with Newcastle. Wolves fell behind twice at the start of the match, but eventually shook hands with their opponents with a 2-2 scoreline. South Korean footballer Hwang Hee-chan showed his bravery again in the match, and his goal tally in the Premier League this season has reached six, alongside Tottenham's forward Son, who scored eight goals, to win a piece of heaven and earth for the "Taiji Tigers" in the top scorer list.

Newcastle's Colin Wilson was the first to break the deadlock in only the 22nd minute of play. However, Wolves quickly equalized in the 36th minute through a header by Lemina. Just before half-time, there was a controversial scene on the pitch: Hwang Hee Chan was penalized for kicking Fabian Schuha in the penalty area, but the VAR system did not intervene, and the replay showed that Hwang Hee Chan actually hit the turf. Colin Wilson then gave Newcastle the lead again from a penalty kick. But Wolves mounted a furious comeback in the second half, with Hwang Hee Chan scoring in the 71st minute to make it 2-2.
