In Wednesday's (4) UEFA Europa League Group A clash, Manchester United's goalkeeper Oonana once again made a cheap mistake! Despite leading twice at home, United lost 2-3 to Galatasaray. The much-criticized Onana, after giving away penalties in the last round, became the culprit again tonight, as his suicidal pass earned Kasimiru a red card. Onana has conceded seven goals in two matches in the UEFA Europa League this season, but coach Tannhäuser was convinced after the match that Onana will be the "best in the world" and supported him to bounce back.

United took the initiative in this match after going down 3-4 to Bayern Munich in their group opener, with Helen heading home on 17 minutes from Rashford's cross. However, Galatasharay were quick to equalize just six minutes later when Werfet Shasha powered past Daloji and scored with a pumped shot from inside the box. United capitalized on a Galatasaray error on 67 minutes when Helen intercepted the ball in midfield and sent in a long pass, but unfortunately the visitors equalized just four minutes later.

The turning point of the game happened in 76 minutes when Onana passed the ball at the back of the field, surprisingly, directly to the opponent's striker Metons. In the heat of the moment, Casimiru kicked his opponent down and was penalized and received a second yellow card. Although Moru Icardi's penalty kick missed, the Argentine striker had another chance to score in the 81st minute. Facing the confidence-less Onana, who dared not attack, he skillfully shot the ball to score, and United finally lost 2-3.
