The controversy surrounding Liverpool's battle with Tottenham Hotspur has not died down, and with the media revealing that Argentinean international Alex McAllistair could suffer serious treatment from the English Football Association over a comment made on a social media platform, Liverpool's predicament appears to be even more harrowing than it was in the movie Liang Tianlai.

After Tottenham Hotspur center back Keith Romelu reportedly posted a post celebrating his victory after the match, his national teammate Alex McAllistair left a message sarcastically commenting, "It's normal to win with 12 men on the pitch." To which Keith Romelu nonchalantly shot back, "Go home and cry."

According to The Sun, Alex McAllister's "12 on the pitch" message, an apparent jibe at referee Simon Harper, could face charges from the English Football Association despite his quick deletion of the post. The report also recalled a similar case last season, also between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, when Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was given a two-match suspension by the English Football Association for criticizing the referee after the match.
