Hilal's star Nima was given a 'penalty' at dawn on Saturday in the Saudi League, but the Brazilian international was given a 'penalty feast', and Hilal were fortunate to win 2-0 at home to Al Shaabi, and to take advantage of Ittihad and Wave's losses to climb to the top of the table. Hilal took advantage of the loss of points by Etihad and Waves to climb to the top of the table.

The match went to the 37th minute of the first half when Hilal was awarded a penalty kick and the original penalty enforcer, Aydashani, intended to give the spot kick opportunity to Nima in the hope of helping the 31-year-old striker break the deadlock, but Nima's shot was valiantly parried away by Aisaby's South Korean keeper, Kim Seung-kyu, and the golden opportunity for a goal was missed.

In the second leg of the match, Nyima contributed two goals to his team, firstly from a corner kick, which was headed home by center Golibani, and then orchestrated the attack, cleverly passing the ball to Alexander Mizunovic, whose shot was blocked by Kim Seung-kyu but he added his own to make his sixth goal in the league this season, behind Crowe, who has scored 10 goals.
