French soccer powerhouse Marseille has welcomed a new head coach - Italian soccer legend Galduso. However, the contract signed between the two sides is only until June next year, which seems to indicate that the club has some doubts about the coach's ability to coach. Gattuso will make his coaching debut in the early hours of October 1, when he will lead his team to an away match against Ligue 1 rivals Monaco, followed by a UEFA Cup clash with Brighton, which will undoubtedly be a huge test for his coaching career.

Marseille's performance this season has not been ideal, with only 2 wins, 3 draws and 1 loss in 6 rounds of league matches, and even lost to Paris Saint-Germain with a 0-4 defeat in the last round. Former manager Marcelino announced his resignation on September 20th. After a selection process, the club finally chose Gaddusu to take over the position.

The 45-year-old young coach has coached well-known teams such as AC Milan, Napoli and Valencia, but the results were not great. He stepped down at Valencia in January this year and has been jobless ever since. Now, Gadoussou has finally been offered the job again, but this time only on a short-term contract and he is expected to appear as a transitional figure.
